Vuyo is a child and a servant of God. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics (Communication Studies) in 2010 from the University of the Western Cape. Worked for the Actuarial Society of South Africa and ASABA from 2011 until March 2018 as an Administrator and a Member Services Officer.

She is passionate about Community Building or Social Transformation, Children and Youth Development as well as Mentorship or Life Coaching. Vuyo is a Writer, a Public Speaker and an Arts Lover. She is also an aspiring Agriculturalist and Film Producer. Vuyo is an award winner with SABC Education; she received a gold medal in 2008 and a silver medal in 2009 for her outstanding work as a writer. She is inspired by purpose; her God-given assignment.

Vuyo attended a Leadership Development Course with the International Leadership University in 2014, completed her diploma in Leadership and Community Engagement from the University of Stellenbosch in 2018, attended a Ministry Training Program from the Shofar Institute in 2018 and obtained her certificate in Character Development for Youth Leaders from the Cross Roads Institute in 2019. She currently serves in the Community as a General Manager of the Shining Community Development Programme; a non-profit organization.
